60th ANNIVERSARY OF TOGO’S INDEPENDENCE

The Togolese Republic was proclaimed on April 27th, 1960 as Togo gained independence from France. The name Togo comes from the language spoken by the local tribes and which means “land where lagoons lie” today, therefore, marks the 60th anniversary of Togo’s Independence. Starting in the 16th century, the coastal region around modern-day Togo became a major trading centre for Europeans to search for slaves, earning Togo and the surrounding region the name “The Slave Coast”. 1st of February 2020 Matriculation Ceremony

MATRICULATION DAY   The ceremony will be observed by the school on the 1st of February, 2020. The Matriculation Ceremony is a demonstration of the adoption of student's duties and obtaining of student's rights by all Freshers(100l Students). The ceremony itself involves students taking the Matriculation Oath of the University and symbolically touching the Faculty mace and shaking the Dean's hand.

STUDENT’S WEEK 2020    During this week different academic, intellectual and sporting activities with lot of entertainment Is part of the student's week. Student's week is another initiative taken by IAEC to provide a platform to her students to explore, discover, and learn and develop communal bond in a Social gathering, which is set to commence on the 27th-31st of January by the management of the school, all students should endeavor to partake in this event.
