Admission is Based on West African University Requirement

If you are a Nigerian, Beninese, Cameroonian, Ghanaians or from any part of the world, You don’t need JAMB/UTME for Admission. You only need  WAEC/ BAC/ NECO/GCE/ NABTEB  O’ Level or A’ Level Result.

Admission to undergraduate degree programs are based on academic achievement at the secondary level.

All applicants are expected to satisfy procedures and criteria for admission to IAEC University Togo, and to submit acceptable original documents which verify that they have satisfactorily completed, and met all admission requirements.

Applicants for admissions into the undergraduate degree programs are subject to selective screening based on academic achievement at the secondary level.

5 O’ Level credit including Math’s & English, (Not more than two sittings) WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, GCE, or Baccalaureate. 

Jamb not Required!

  • Application form dully filled by candidate.

  • Photocopy of Birth Certificate or Age declaration.
  • 2 Passport Picture
  • Transfer students are accepted with transcript, OD, ND, or BTS, NCE, HND.
  • Photocopy of International Passport-Optional ( Only for International Applicants eg, Nigerians)
  • International credentials that are not noted above will be evaluated in accordance with the International Academic Credentials Handbook.
  • Meeting the minimum entrance requirement for any of the programs does not guarantee admissions into the University program.

    “You are a transfer student if you have attempted or completed 18 or more credits at another college or university after high school graduation.”

Transfer Admissions:
Official evaluation of undergraduate transfer credit is under the authority of the dean or designee of a school in consultation with the Admissions Office. All degree-seeking undergraduate applicants must submit official high school records (showing date of graduation) and college records.

The Admissions Office evaluates transfer students’ previous academic work completed at the undergraduate level for possible credits to be applied to their degree programs at IAEC.

TOGO Allowable transfer credits are formally identified and documented by the Admissions Office. An official transcript, OD, ND, BTS, NCE, HND must be received before final transfer work can be accepted. Course descriptions may also need to be provided if requested.

Degree requirements are determined by combining the transfer credits allowed and the required academic work to be successfully completed at IAEC. Students can request a copy of the transfer evaluation from the Registrar’s Office.

Transfer evaluation will be based on higher education work completed where grades of C or better were earned.

Applicants with less than 12 semester units completed will have their secondary school record also evaluated.

Baccalaureate degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution with a GPA of 2.5 or better.

Application Procedures & Deadlines
All applicants are expected to satisfy procedures and criteria for admission to IAEC TOGO, and to submit acceptable original documents which verify that they have satisfactorily completed all admission requirements.

Students who meet all requirements will be considered for acceptance to the University. However, meeting the minimum entrance requirements does not guarantee admission into a University program.

Admission is strictly based on merit, and conditionally admitted students must present the required documents within their term of study. Failure to do so will prohibit further registration.
