WOMENS DAY-IAEC TOGO

Women’s Day is celebrated globally on 8th March every year in honour of their remarkable contribution to our society. The day also commemorates the inspiring role of women around the world to secure women’s rights and build society that is more equitable. Women’s day also brings out the beauty of women. As the saying goes, “No woman is ugly…Every woman is beautiful in her own way and uniqueness”.

In alignment with the Women’s Day on 9th of March 2020, a Conference (a formal meeting of people with a shared interest or a particular subject matter) will be held at the school premises. The subject matter of the conference will be centered on the “Women’s day, free Cancer screening and cultural activities”

On the 9th of March, a free cancer screening program will also be held in IAEC. The free cancer screening is a free Medicare checkup or test that helps in the detection and prevention of cancer. The screening is a type of preventive medical service women can get without having to pay a Copay or coinsurance or meet an annual deductible.

Cultural activities will as well take place on same day. As we all know, one’s culture speaks for them. Africa in particular is a fascinating continent and its culture is incredibly interesting. African cultural values are deeply rooted in the way of thinking and Africans are extremely gracious and caring people, ready to go the extra mile to respect and service others. When cultural values are understood, positive impressions will be made.

In summary, Women’s Day at IAEC is a great platform to experience new things and broaden one’s horizons.
