Covid-19 Update – IAEC Online Learning Management System
The Coronavirus pandemic also known as COVID-19 is a virus that can cause illness such as common cold and severe acute respiratory syndrome. The pandemic has caused a lot of disruptions, reduction in business, education and a recession in the economy globally.
This virus is mostly spread from person to person through the droplets, which are often generated when a person coughs or sneezes. One can be exposed when in close contact with an infected person. It is therefore advised to take preventive measures to avoid being infected. Those measures include:
- Wash your hand often with soap and clean water and use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick,
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Practice Social Distancing

In relation to this pandemic outbreak, IAEC management has notably worked to develop an alternative to physical learning since there is a disruption in the educational sectors worldwide. An Online Learining Management System has been introduced where students get the ability to access materials needed to make learning effective. This online platform has been introduced for the time being, to facilitate learning and avoid students being reluctant to their studies in the course of this pandemic.
Students are expected to always be available on the platform to get updates on happenings in the school.
